The main aim of the initiative, which was first held in 2015/16, is to encourage the creation and promote the literary and artistic quality of projects in the field of illustrated albums.
The prize is worth 4,000 euros, plus the publication of the winning work in Portuguese by the Planeta Tangerina publishing house.
In this edition, the submission deadline starts in July and ends at the end of September.
